• How do I get to the house?

We are located in El Valle (Carreño), at Fancornio 4. When you arrive at the village of El Valle (Zancornio) via the main road, simply follow the signs for Monte Areo; you will see our house marked on one of them. You can also easily find us on Google Maps as "Casa Rural Selmo."

• What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in begins at 4:30 PM (16:30) and check-out must be completed before 11:00 AM. If you need flexibility, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

• Is breakfast served at the house?

Yes! We offer a full breakfast that is highly rated by our guests. We provide continental and buffet options, and we can adapt to special dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free) upon prior request.

• What facilities will I find in the house?
The house is designed so you won't miss a thing. We have a fully equipped kitchen, heating for winter days, and free Wi-Fi. Additionally, we have a special lounge with a fireplace and sofas—a cozy space designed for relaxing, reading, or enjoying a quiet chat by the fire.

• Are pets allowed?

Of course! We are a Pet-Friendly accommodation. Your pet is more than welcome so the whole family can enjoy Asturias together.

• Are parties or events allowed?
To guarantee the peace and quiet of our surroundings, loud parties and bachelor/bachelorette groups are not permitted. Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM.Our spaces are available for rent for afterwork events, wellness retreats, and teambuilding days. It is the ideal setting to connect with your team in a relaxed, natural environment.

• Is smoking allowed indoors?
No, Casa Rural Selmo is a smoke-free space. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house.

•What activities can I do nearby?

Exploring El Valle (Carreño) is an immersion into authentic Asturias. The area is known for its beauty and accessibility, ideal for both leisurely hiking and electric cycling (a top choice for covering more ground with less effort).For a perfect experience, we recommend using the interactive routes from "Los Pilares de Carreño." By downloading these itineraries to your phone, you’ll have a "guide in your pocket" with real-time information about traditional laundries, old railway tracks, and treasures like the Monte Areo Necropolis. These routes are verified, safe, and include inclusive options for all mobility levels.

Absolutely. We host many families and are prepared to ensure both adults and children have a safe and fun stay.

• What is the cancellation policy?

The cancellation policy varies depending on the selected rate and the booking platform. We recommend reviewing the specific conditions during the booking process or contacting us directly for more details.

• Is it necessary to provide ID upon arrival?
Yes, by law, all guests (including minors accompanied by their guardians) must present an official photo ID during registration.
